The first 4 players will be playing for their home teams and will not be auctioned. Instead they are assured a flat 15% more than the highest bid of the IPL player auction.
The IPL board has prepared a list of 31 Indian players and 53 foreign players for the tournament. Others are still joining or have expressed their willingness to be part of the event.
